Reasoning deeply and precisely about decision making has never been a more relevant or a more essential skill.

The CMU Department of Philosophy now offers the Rationality, Uncertainty, and Choice (RUC) minor, interweaving interdisciplinary mathematical and philosophical approaches to understanding and modeling uncertainty and rational choice in individual and group contexts.
​
The minor consists of 3 core courses in game & decision theory and 3 electives.
